The main issue of this competition was the development of a concept for the prospective use of the Elbe power station in Vockerode. Our proposal identified chances for a revitalisation while the distinctive character of this important listed monument was maintained. Through a new roof concept the building was enhanced by contemporary architecture and with the casino and concert hall, economically reasonable functions were introduced that profit from the atmospherical industrial spaces.
