Highway Information Centre 'Thüringer Waldautobahn A71'
As a collaboration between product design and architecture this project was initiated to find innovative architectural and artistic proposals for a new kind of architectural typology: the highwaymuseum. Our proposal sets the building off the beaten track, forcing the visitor to slow down and approach it within a short walk, that continues through the inner spaces and connects the exhibition with other functions of the roadhouse.
