This urban design project deals with the experimental transformation of Weimar's Ernst-Thälmann-Street into a magistrale. We analysed and permuted the existing urban fabric in four steps, leading to a new morphology that interweaves mass and space in a balanced ratio from the urban scale up to the scale of a single building.
